Recently had an extensive remodel performed and wanted to have all of the fine dust cleaned from the mechanical system. From scheduling through completion Steamatic of Kansas City was a pleasure to work with and was extremely responsive. On the day of the cleaning the crew called approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival and confirmed the address and that someone was home since they were running a little early. Upon their arrival they were extremely polite, efficient, and thoroughly cleaned up after they were done.

I was not satisfied with the work

We had our upstairs carpet cleaned 2 weeks ago. The technician went over and above to remove stains that other companies had worked on and never removed. Our carpet looks new!

Quick in and out, could’ve done the same with my home machine, expected better, didn’t even get up the traffic areas or stains, won’t be using again, buy a Bissell home machine, you’ll be better off

Steamatic came out to assess water damage from the recent deep freeze when we had a pipe burst. The 2 female person crew came out to assess the damage, they weren’t there very long, took a few pictures, but refuses to go into the crawl space where there was a secondary leak; We needed them to go look there to assess water damage to the subflooring. They refused. I wasn’t impressed with the service.

Ryan and Noah were the best. Professional, neat, good service, explained the process and cleaned up their mess. Highly recommend. Getting carpets cleaned in a few days with them! Thank you.

We used Steamatic to clean our light green sofa. The sofa almost looks like new again. They were able to clean out dirt and stains from the last 5 years. It dried enough to sit on it after 6 hours and entirely within 24 hours.

They missed the window of expected arrival time due to some issues with their van, and it was a slow start because the machine was giving them trouble. The floor was soaked during the cleaning process and dried/mopped up when they were done with the sofa. They removed our area rug and other furniture near the couch. Overall, I’m pleased with the outcome.

When you book online for small jobs, be sure to note the minimum charge is more than some of the small job costs. I think the minimum was $140. So, if needed, consider booking multiple small jobs to meet the minimum and get the most out of your service.

The techs showed up at the appointed time. Went right to work and were finished in 30 minutes. Can’t get much better than that. Price was what was quoted on the phone. I will use Steamatic again.

When I called, Bambi answered the phone quickly and answered all my questions. She scheduled me for the next week and let me know how to prepare to have our carpets cleaned. She said they’d arrive between a certain time frame. The morning of, she called to let me know they were running behind and that the technician would give me a call when he was on his way. He did not call but the technician was extra friendly, professional and kind. He wore a mask, but didn’t have it covering his nose. There was a mix up and it took longer than expected to start the service because they had to have someone drop a cleaning wand by. Because of the delay I was given a reasonable discount. Once, he started cleaning it only took about 35 minutes to do 5 rooms and a hallway. They said it would take 8-12 hours for the carpet to dry, but it took a bit longer in some spots. I’m impressed with their commitment to quality and friendliness. I will likely use them again to clean my carpets.

Quick and easy!

Allowing strangers into your home can be stressful. However, with the employees from Steamatic, it was a pleasure! They introduced themselves at the door of my home (before I had to ask for their names). that’s Huge! They were professional throughout the experience, my carpet looks better than it has in years and I could not be more pleased with their service!

We have never used Steamatic. We assumed upon a higher price for their work and either did it ourselves or had another company. We finally realized we needed an overhaul in our basement and had them come and really clean the basement and our furniture. I had to call and add things at the last minute and the price was so reasonable and the work was excellent. The technician who arrived had me look over our requirements before starting and sign it. He than, told me what he was doing along the way, he was quick and efficient and a great personality. I highly recommend this company and I have already given out some of their cards.

I had no idea how much dirt had accumulated in our vents over the years. They promised us we were not going to be the poster model for dirty ducts. Steamatic did what they promised to do. They cleaned the floors and put a new top coat of polyurethane on the floors. They look good as new. There was one slight problem and they were johnny on the spot to correct the problem. They are easy to work with and do what they so. We had our wood floors done and they were 25% of the cost of having them sanded and refinished and they did it in two days!. I recommend them highly.

Detail kitchen deep clean

We purchased a home a couple of months ago and were concerned about the cleanliness of our vents and furnace. The crew they sent out was amazing, very polite, and professional. They did amazing work. Thank you so much for your very hard work. We were correct in needing the vents cleaned…yuck!!

I-had water damage to my home from a pipe bursting , they sent over 2 guys around 23 of age , to remove the wet sheet rock in my laundry room. Well they came with NO equipment, I was sleep from working the night before so my friend was there . They her for a butter knife to remove the sheet rock really !!! Then after one week the dryer fans running 24 hours a day for one week Then

OK, they came to remove the WET sheet rock , come on it dry now and I told to take it all out the first time they came , but they didn’t, they also track mud and dirt on my stairs from the worker . Oh yes they send someone out to clean the carpet on my stairs . I was under the impression static was a good a responsible company NOT . I very seldom write reviews but I had to warn consumers out there . My insurance company did not give me a choice to use any other company. But stay away are fight to get another water company out ,they deserve a -5 star!

I badly needed to have my attic cleaned. We live in a house that was built in 1903. It was remodeled in 1932. I don’t think the attic had been cleaned since. The young men came and removed all the old insulation and debris from the attic in a very professional manner. There were some difficult areas to clean and they sent a large crew out to do that for us. We then had a cleaning bomb set off by them. We were very pleased and would recommend them to anyone needing a very difficult cleaning job.

We have also had our carpets cleaned in the past and been very satisfied.

Steamatic was easy to schedule cleaning services with, appeared at the time arranged, cleaned well and fast & the price was competitive with other companies I have used.

OK, first the good. The lead representative was knowledgeable. He explained what they were going to do and how. He pointed out areas of difficulty and how he would address them. He spoke with confidence and experience . He would show me when possible what they were facing.
Now the not so good. Obviously vent cleaning is an inherently dirty business. I doubt my vents have ever been cleaned. They did attempt to clean up each area when done. Yet I found several areas where I had to do some cleanup myself. Also, they left at least on vent cover off which I reattached. Some of the stuff they moved they did not get back in place. Not a big deal except for a treadmill which I could not move myself.
Overall, more good than bad. Yet it could have been five stars with some more attention to the after vent cleaning portion.

Very unprofessional the carpet techs showed up about 2 hours late and when I asked about it they pretty much told me I could reschedule or go some where else do not recommend this company horrible experience service did not make up for it either carpets looked the same when they were done.

Both young men were very polite and helpful. I appreciate their hardwork.

Crappy service never used them

Steamatic did the flooding clean up for our finished basement when the flood happened on July 27th…During that time, 3 storm windows were thrown away in error on their part…and a hole in my wall by the dryer was made from moving and hauling away damaged items.. Company stated in writing they would pay for the windows and for the hole in the wall…I have sent over 3 emails to Jeff and to Juan about the hole in the wall…three times the cost of $300 was sent to them to respond…My contractor is waiting to start the repair but not until Steamatic pays 1/2 up front and 1/2 when done…They have not acknowledged any of my emails…I also need to have them see the estimates I have for the windows which I have not sent to them yet as I am trying to deal with one issue at a time..I would like to get this settled ASAP…..I have other issues that I do not want to post here online that also occurred….this was probably the worst experience we have dealt with…the flooding was bad enough but then these issues happened….my local insurance agent Dave Housh highly recommended this company to help me out…however, it has turned into a nightmare. Manager is now stating cannot speak to us and we are frauds….Unbelievable.

The two young men were pleasant and conscientious. They answered any questions we had and completed the work in just a couple of hours. Very satisfied!

They arrived comfortably within the alloted window. They talked me through what they could and could not do, and answered all my questions. Once they got started, they worked quickly and efficiently. I expected to have some cleanup to do after they left, but there was none.

They did have one piece of equipment that leaked a little bit. Fortunately, it was a minor leak. They put the equipment in a bucket I happened to have and so there wasn’t a mess in my house. Maybe Steamatic should have it fixed or replaced.

Wonderful experience! We worked with Jeff to do dryer vent cleaning for a 56 unit condominium building and the entire team and process was easy, efficient, and they stuck to their schedule perfectly! Highly recommend them.

I called Steamatic for Air Duct Cleaning in my home after a friend highly recommended them to me. Their customer service and service crew is top notch! I spoke with Jeff Degenhardt initially on the phone. He was extremelty knowledgeable and explained the process to me in detail. I had a horrible problem with dust and knew the air quality in my home was poor, I could not believe how much dirt and dust came out of my air ducts!! I used to have to dust every day. Now I dust once a week and the dust is very light. They also installed a deodorizer so my house smells fresh everyday! The crew that came out to my house were so professional and they know their stuff! Thanks for the recommendation, my friend! I will recommend them to all of my friends!

I contracted Steamatic to clean the 17 duct-vents of my house. They did a great job in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price. Couldn’t ask for a more, and I won’t hesitate to hire them again.

Scheduling was easy and their timeframe was quick.
The team was on time, professional, and worked clean. The guys showed me before and after pictures of my ducts and handed me the handful of loose change they’d found in them. They also repaired a random hole found in the duct work. I was able to add on a dryer vent cleaning while they were there, and they fixed a loose attachment on the dryer vent too. I will definitely use them again!

Carpet still dirty! Sent carpet back and nothing changed. Ended up cleaning the spots with household cleaners with no problems. Not sure what’s going on with them. They have been great in the past.

This company cleaned out my dryer vent. They arrived on time in fact sooner than expected which was fine. I’ll assume they did a good job since I cannot see inside the ducts of my dryer vent I do know they were cleaning up some things that blew out the vent though. I feel better knowing it’s been cleaned out. No excuse for fires.

Had the ducts and vents cleaned. Seems to have worked but hard to tell. The main difference is that I use a Merve 11 furnace filter and used to replace every 6 months. Now my furnace guy only has to replace it every year. And last time he said the one that’s been in use for a year still looks good. I had him replace it anyway. I figure I can swing a new filter every year!

Not exactly what i expected. The company was professional and fast completing the job. However, i thought they would vacuum the carpet before streaming, but didn’t. The carpet was still wet after 12 hrs. Overall, the experience was average.

Actually showed up early, a plus. Did a good job cleaning, quick and thorough. Fair price & nice guys too. I forgot to ask about moving furniture so we had already done that (not easy for seniors with heavy furniture). Next time will check what they charge to move it, or maybe they should mention the option. Will use them again.

When I set up my appointment its was to been set for before lunch that conversation tool place on a Monday. They called me Wednesday to let me know they would be here before lunch on Friday. We just moved into an old house and had the upstairs remodeled. The house had a bad odor before the remodel but was worse after. My family was coughing and waking up with headaches and sore throats. We hired Steamatic to come out and clean our air ducts and install 2 UV lights. Scheduling was easy and they gave us a price quote over the phone. They called and text that morning when they were on their way and then did a walk through the house to give us the final price. The quote over the phone was too much so they lowered the price once they got there. They sent 2 people and they were really nice and took really good care of our stuff. They spent most of the day here and worked their butts off! They even vacuumed all of our carpets when they were done. They also did a walk through with us to make sure that the house was as clean as what we were expecting. I really appreciated their attention to caring for our home. Not many companies do that. I will definitely have them back out again for any of the services they offer. They definitely treated our house as if it were their own. They also wore masks without asking and I really appreciated that- even though the restrictions have been removed on mask wearing in KC. I thought that was super professional and again- another way they showed us care and respect. Thank you guys! We feel more comfortable in our home knowing the air is clean.

They cleaned the darned heck out of a dryer vent that was long; long-ignored; and thoroughly clogged. They were fast, thrifty, polite, clean and…wait…that’s the Boy Scouts! 😆 Seriously though. Great job all around.

We had a sink overflow and cause damage to a laundry room, closet and downstairs bedroom. They would give me a window of when they were arriving and supposed to call before arriving but never did.They only did part of the work that they were supposed to do. They had the list of items they were supposed to do, yet I was constantly telling them things that still needed done and most of that stuff still did not get done. The ceiling they repaired very obviously looks like it’s been repaired.

Excellent service and fast work. Cleaned our dryer vent at a competitive price, and did a great job.

Sofa / loveseat surface clean, but debris in cracks. They are stll wet. Clean but soak. My floors are Brand new…I mopped up excess water with new mop

I’ve never used them, and will never use them because one of their vans cut us off and almost caused a wreck with another vehicle. Driving behind them now on the highway and hes weaving in and out of traffic. He also has ear buds in. Thats not very safe. License plate 3WH 114 van #11.

I can’t say enough about Steamatic, they are the best. A Steamatic rep was in my house the day after being contacted. The proposals and invoices were clear, and emails and phone calls answered immediately. The remediation crew were calm, fast, happy, more than accommodating, and know their stuff, it was a really great experience.

We have used Steamatic to clean our office carpets for about 4 years now. They always do a great job. The workers who come out are always friendly and always do a great job, and the office staff are always wonderful.

The only complaint I have is that the less experienced guy kept leaving his tools, bag of padding to cover the vents, and attachments on the furniture. I would move them off and he would put them right back. Other than that they did a good job.

Conner and Leroy did a great job cleaning my carpets. They were exceptionally careful cleaning around and under ( as needed) my large furniture. My carpets had not been cleaned for quite awhile and look so nice now- even the steps!! I will definitely use Steamatic again!!

Home purchased in Sept. 2020 had undisclosed basement seepage issue that was discovered after a lot of recent rain caused standing water in one room and a bit in another room. A next door neighbor told me about 2nd sump pump in exterior of house that had been unplugged(!).

Steamatics took care of cleaning our home after we had a fire in the garage this October. This was actually the second fire and we immediately reached out to Steamatics to help with recovering my home. I have had a lot of other carpet companies clean before, but I was very impress with the gentle who came into our home this morning, July 28, 2015. He was very professional, listen and asked questions as to what my exceptions were. He took the time to explain to me exactly what he would be doing and how a lot of carpet once any stain has set for a while get into the mat and is very difficult to get out completely. Once he was finish he asked if there were any spot,stains I would like for him to try again. I was very impress with him and happy with his work.
