Had the ducts and vents cleaned. Seems to have worked but hard to tell. The main difference is that I use a Merve 11 furnace filter and used to replace every 6 months. Now my furnace guy only has to replace it every year. And last time he said the one that’s been in use for a year still looks good. I had him replace it anyway. I figure I can swing a new filter every year!

Very unprofessional the carpet techs showed up about 2 hours late and when I asked about it they pretty much told me I could reschedule or go some where else do not recommend this company horrible experience service did not make up for it either carpets looked the same when they were done.

They showed up on time & were very professional. They checked in with us during the cleaning to see if we were satisfied with the removal of a couple of stains. The two gentleman were very courteous. I will certainly use them again.

I spilled white paint on my brown carpet and called Steamatic. Steven was incredibly responsive and helpful. He came out on an emergency call on Mother’s Day to help me and I can’t thank him enough. Highly recommend.

Quite pleased with their service

Their service techs were on time, professional and thorough. They walked us through how they were going to clean the ducts and vents. We also received before and after photos of the progress. (which is great info to have if you are selling your home)

Ryan & JK showed up on time, got right to work. Cleaned the ducts and vents and cleaned up after themselves.

We had a sink overflow and cause damage to a laundry room, closet and downstairs bedroom. They would give me a window of when they were arriving and supposed to call before arriving but never did.They only did part of the work that they were supposed to do. They had the list of items they were supposed to do, yet I was constantly telling them things that still needed done and most of that stuff still did not get done. The ceiling they repaired very obviously looks like it’s been repaired.

Allowing strangers into your home can be stressful. However, with the employees from Steamatic, it was a pleasure! They introduced themselves at the door of my home (before I had to ask for their names). that’s Huge! They were professional throughout the experience, my carpet looks better than it has in years and I could not be more pleased with their service!

The two crew members showed up on time and were very professional and thorough with cleaning my couch. They were also very quiet, fast and extremely efficient! They left everything the way they found it, and gave detailed instructions on aftercare.

They cleaned the darned heck out of a dryer vent that was long; long-ignored; and thoroughly clogged. They were fast, thrifty, polite, clean and…wait…that’s the Boy Scouts! 😆 Seriously though. Great job all around.

My carpet looks better than I imagined!

Recently had an extensive remodel performed and wanted to have all of the fine dust cleaned from the mechanical system. From scheduling through completion Steamatic of Kansas City was a pleasure to work with and was extremely responsive. On the day of the cleaning the crew called approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival and confirmed the address and that someone was home since they were running a little early. Upon their arrival they were extremely polite, efficient, and thoroughly cleaned up after they were done.

These guys are awesome!

Unfortunately, I will not be using Steamatic again for services due to lack of communication as to what was included and a rushed job.

The team from Steamatic did a thorough, professional job of cleaning a real mess, we had no idea how close we may have been coming to a house fire due to badly clogged dryer venting. They were polite, hard working, and did a great job! They told us what the problem was behind our dryer not running properly (taking far too long to dry even a small load), fixed the problems that had built up, cleaned everything and put everything back when they finished, and advised us on proper ventilation maintenance. Great service.

I-had water damage to my home from a pipe bursting , they sent over 2 guys around 23 of age , to remove the wet sheet rock in my laundry room. Well they came with NO equipment, I was sleep from working the night before so my friend was there . They her for a butter knife to remove the sheet rock really !!! Then after one week the dryer fans running 24 hours a day for one week Then

OK, they came to remove the WET sheet rock , come on it dry now and I told to take it all out the first time they came , but they didn’t, they also track mud and dirt on my stairs from the worker . Oh yes they send someone out to clean the carpet on my stairs . I was under the impression static was a good a responsible company NOT . I very seldom write reviews but I had to warn consumers out there . My insurance company did not give me a choice to use any other company. But stay away are fight to get another water company out ,they deserve a -5 star!

The guys did fine. Thru didn’t have the little foam blocks to put under the furniture. They said the van did not get stocked with them.

The HVAC people did good also. Arrived late with no explanation, but did a good job cleaning.

We were extremely pleased with the work performed. Not only were they prompt and efficient, they were friendly and left every area very clean. I had no idea how much dirt had accumulated in our vents over the years. They promised us we were not going to be the poster model for dirty ducts. We have used Steamatic in the past for carpet cleaning and I will now be adding duct cleaning to our regular house maintenance. I highly recommend using this service. Could not be happier.

This company cleaned out my dryer vent. They arrived on time in fact sooner than expected which was fine. I’ll assume they did a good job since I cannot see inside the ducts of my dryer vent I do know they were cleaning up some things that blew out the vent though. I feel better knowing it’s been cleaned out. No excuse for fires.

I called Steamatic for Air Duct Cleaning in my home after a friend highly recommended them to me. Their customer service and service crew is top notch! I spoke with Jeff Degenhardt initially on the phone. He was extremelty knowledgeable and explained the process to me in detail. I had a horrible problem with dust and knew the air quality in my home was poor, I could not believe how much dirt and dust came out of my air ducts!! I used to have to dust every day. Now I dust once a week and the dust is very light. They also installed a deodorizer so my house smells fresh everyday! The crew that came out to my house were so professional and they know their stuff! Thanks for the recommendation, my friend! I will recommend them to all of my friends!

Quick in and out, could’ve done the same with my home machine, expected better, didn’t even get up the traffic areas or stains, won’t be using again, buy a Bissell home machine, you’ll be better off

Ryan & Jay did an outstanding job cleaning our air ducts in a house we recently purchased. The ducts were soooo gross, and we now have peace of mind knowing that stuff is out of our house. They also arrived within the promised time frame and didn’t charge us a single penny more than they quoted us on the phone. Will definitely recommend.

We have used Steamatic to clean our office carpets for about 4 years now. They always do a great job. The workers who come out are always friendly and always do a great job, and the office staff are always wonderful.

My only criticism is they should wipe around the area rug after they spray the deodorizer and finish cleaning. There was lots of wet splatter on my hardwood floor. I am 76 and had to repeatedly bend over & wipe around my area rug. Plus I almost broke my neck slipping on my slick bathroom tile after they left. It also got sprayed on because it was adjacent to my bedroom carpet when they cleaned it.

Actually showed up early, a plus. Did a good job cleaning, quick and thorough. Fair price & nice guys too. I forgot to ask about moving furniture so we had already done that (not easy for seniors with heavy furniture). Next time will check what they charge to move it, or maybe they should mention the option. Will use them again.

Crappy service never used them

I contracted Steamatic to clean the 17 duct-vents of my house. They did a great job in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price. Couldn’t ask for a more, and I won’t hesitate to hire them again.

Detail kitchen deep clean

Conner and Leroy did a great job cleaning my carpets. They were exceptionally careful cleaning around and under ( as needed) my large furniture. My carpets had not been cleaned for quite awhile and look so nice now- even the steps!! I will definitely use Steamatic again!!

Did a very poor job on my floors

A lovely team came out, removed everything flood damaged including flooring, base boards, ceiling, and insulation. They did a great job, and were polite and efficient. Noe, Juana, and Deviany were even sweet and friendly to the curious small children who wanted to see their work.

Elijah did a great job. He was real nice and knew what he was doing. We are very happy with the results.

Unfortunately I’m on bed rest so I was not able to monitor the work. The men have great customer service, so I figured everything was ok. Unfortunately I was wrong . The container they had to suck out everything from the vents is scattered all over the floor in the basement, which I could of handle. But as I followed green foot prints to the basement I noticed the knocked over a full sealed container can of green paint . They let the entire container spill out all over the basement floor and didn’t bother to even tell me . I couldn’t even give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they didn’t notice because the container was upright so someone had to pick up the container after it spilled . AT THE MINIMUM SOMEONE COULD OF ATLEAST TOLD ME ! My home may not mean much to other people but this is all I have. An it’s been so hard to keep up with things having this highrisk pregnancy. So disappointed because customers service is amazing but it’s followed up with poor work .

Scheduling was easy and their timeframe was quick.
The team was on time, professional, and worked clean. The guys showed me before and after pictures of my ducts and handed me the handful of loose change they’d found in them. They also repaired a random hole found in the duct work. I was able to add on a dryer vent cleaning while they were there, and they fixed a loose attachment on the dryer vent too. I will definitely use them again!

We had recent issue with water damage in our basement from all of the rain in KC. Called Steamatic and they scheduled appointment for next possible day which was 1 day later. Service man came and explained all of the services but did not pressure us but was very informative. He got right to work and did an exceptional job. Very efficient and professional. Carpet came out cleaner than expected. We will difinitely use again in the future as they did a much better job than previous companies we had used,

OK, first the good. The lead representative was knowledgeable. He explained what they were going to do and how. He pointed out areas of difficulty and how he would address them. He spoke with confidence and experience . He would show me when possible what they were facing.
Now the not so good. Obviously vent cleaning is an inherently dirty business. I doubt my vents have ever been cleaned. They did attempt to clean up each area when done. Yet I found several areas where I had to do some cleanup myself. Also, they left at least on vent cover off which I reattached. Some of the stuff they moved they did not get back in place. Not a big deal except for a treadmill which I could not move myself.
Overall, more good than bad. Yet it could have been five stars with some more attention to the after vent cleaning portion.

Steamatic always does a great job. they were on time, friendly and got right to work. I had a time crunch I had to meet on Sat afternoon, I called Friday afternoon and they were able to accommodate me , booked and ready the next morning.

Wonderful and diligent job on cleaning our commercial kitchen.

Steamatic did the flooding clean up for our finished basement when the flood happened on July 27th…During that time, 3 storm windows were thrown away in error on their part…and a hole in my wall by the dryer was made from moving and hauling away damaged items.. Company stated in writing they would pay for the windows and for the hole in the wall…I have sent over 3 emails to Jeff and to Juan about the hole in the wall…three times the cost of $300 was sent to them to respond…My contractor is waiting to start the repair but not until Steamatic pays 1/2 up front and 1/2 when done…They have not acknowledged any of my emails…I also need to have them see the estimates I have for the windows which I have not sent to them yet as I am trying to deal with one issue at a time..I would like to get this settled ASAP…..I have other issues that I do not want to post here online that also occurred….this was probably the worst experience we have dealt with…the flooding was bad enough but then these issues happened….my local insurance agent Dave Housh highly recommended this company to help me out…however, it has turned into a nightmare. Manager is now stating cannot speak to us and we are frauds….Unbelievable.

We just moved into an old house and had the upstairs remodeled. The house had a bad odor before the remodel but was worse after. My family was coughing and waking up with headaches and sore throats. We hired Steamatic to come out and clean our air ducts and install 2 UV lights. Scheduling was easy and they gave us a price quote over the phone. They called and text that morning when they were on their way and then did a walk through the house to give us the final price. The quote over the phone was too much so they lowered the price once they got there. They sent 2 people and they were really nice and took really good care of our stuff. They spent most of the day here and worked their butts off! They even vacuumed all of our carpets when they were done. They also did a walk through with us to make sure that the house was as clean as what we were expecting. I really appreciated their attention to caring for our home. Not many companies do that. I will definitely have them back out again for any of the services they offer. They definitely treated our house as if it were their own. They also wore masks without asking and I really appreciated that- even though the restrictions have been removed on mask wearing in KC. I thought that was super professional and again- another way they showed us care and respect. Thank you guys! We feel more comfortable in our home knowing the air is clean.

They boys were nice, after they left we found debris everywhere. They did not clean up. The ducts were cleaned, debris on the carpet. Pieces of wood, showing in the in the downstairs vent. It may have been something in the vent. He had to have seen i it to restore the vent. But wasn’t showing previously. Now I have to climb on a ladder and try to get it out I’m 59 years old and the last thing I need to do is get on a ladder. The young man smoked and left his cigarette butts in my driveway. We found rusty nails, which was extremely dangerous to us and our dogs. Pieces of insulation, tact’s and some piece of equipment.
Again the guys were nice, just not very professional. Maybe some coaching to improve the results of the duct cleaning and cleanup. I do not want them to return as we have already cleaned most of it. Respectfully,

I can still see the stains

We used Steamatic to clean our light green sofa. The sofa almost looks like new again. They were able to clean out dirt and stains from the last 5 years. It dried enough to sit on it after 6 hours and entirely within 24 hours.

They missed the window of expected arrival time due to some issues with their van, and it was a slow start because the machine was giving them trouble. The floor was soaked during the cleaning process and dried/mopped up when they were done with the sofa. They removed our area rug and other furniture near the couch. Overall, I’m pleased with the outcome.

When you book online for small jobs, be sure to note the minimum charge is more than some of the small job costs. I think the minimum was $140. So, if needed, consider booking multiple small jobs to meet the minimum and get the most out of your service.

Your technicians were very nice and professional, and they made sure that I was satisfied with their work before they left.

Staff was very courteous and friendly, went over the areas to be cleaned to discuss problem areas. They were very efficient and attentive to detail. We were extremely pleased with the results.

Sweet, kind personalities of people work here. Two times I’ve had them clean a 2nd hand chair, and both times it turned out great. I wanted a natural version of Scotchgard, and they let me bring in my own spray and sprayed it for me. Thanks, Steamatic!

The lady that scheduled the call was very kind and professional as well as the men who cleaned the carpets. Someone did change my time frame without letting me know but I was compensated with a cleaning of an extra area at no charge.

I can’t say enough about Steamatic, they are the best. A Steamatic rep was in my house the day after being contacted. The proposals and invoices were clear, and emails and phone calls answered immediately. The remediation crew were calm, fast, happy, more than accommodating, and know their stuff, it was a really great experience.

The technicians hurried through the entire cleaning process and did five rooms in less than an hour. The carpets don’t look any different. I was very disappointed in their service.

My carpets were clean very well there were some areas that they did not clean because they said I didn’t pay for them to move the furniture but nobody told me when I made the appointment that I had to pay for moving furniture so I had to call Company back they responded very quickly came back and cleaned the areas that I needed clean so thank you for your service and the young man was very professional!

Rugs look like brand new

The only complaint I have is that the less experienced guy kept leaving his tools, bag of padding to cover the vents, and attachments on the furniture. I would move them off and he would put them right back. Other than that they did a good job.

Worker arrived on time and gave updates about his arrival time. He was courteous and very nice and did an excellent job.

When I called, Bambi answered the phone quickly and answered all my questions. She scheduled me for the next week and let me know how to prepare to have our carpets cleaned. She said they’d arrive between a certain time frame. The morning of, she called to let me know they were running behind and that the technician would give me a call when he was on his way. He did not call but the technician was extra friendly, professional and kind. He wore a mask, but didn’t have it covering his nose. There was a mix up and it took longer than expected to start the service because they had to have someone drop a cleaning wand by. Because of the delay I was given a reasonable discount. Once, he started cleaning it only took about 35 minutes to do 5 rooms and a hallway. They said it would take 8-12 hours for the carpet to dry, but it took a bit longer in some spots. I’m impressed with their commitment to quality and friendliness. I will likely use them again to clean my carpets.

The gentlemen who showed up to clean our ducts were very friendly and thorough in their work. They got right to work and completed the project sooner than anticipated. There was very little disruption to us.

I badly needed to have my attic cleaned. We live in a house that was built in 1903. It was remodeled in 1932. I don’t think the attic had been cleaned since. The young men came and removed all the old insulation and debris from the attic in a very professional manner. There were some difficult areas to clean and they sent a large crew out to do that for us. We then had a cleaning bomb set off by them. We were very pleased and would recommend them to anyone needing a very difficult cleaning job.

We have also had our carpets cleaned in the past and been very satisfied.

I didn’t even know dryer vent cleaning was a service and I’m really happy with the results. Our techs were friendly and professional & left everything in better shape than when they got here.

Initial scheduling was tough during peak season, but once it was ironed out by talking directly to the office personnel things went well. The lead technician was good with answering questions, as well as assuring me of his goal to take care of me.

The guys were very personable and seem to respect our belongings. They showed us before and after pictures. I would recommend them for the value and promptness of the job.

This place showed up right on time and the workers were extremely friendly and helped me move my furniture out of the way. They even did my rugs when I didn’t even ask them to. I will definitely call them again and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you streamatic!!

We had our living room flora and couches cleaned and they look amazing!! They were in time, and completed the job within an hour and a half. Our tech moved and the furniture himself and put everything back. Our furniture was dry and ready for use just after about 4 hours. Highly recommend!

Steamatic received a call from Allstate and came early to assess the issue and help. I personally remove the water from the floorings but needed a lot of help with the ceiling. Employees came and helped with information with the assessment and did some work to help block any more water that might come down from the ceiling! Allstate and Steamatic have both been so helpful and fast; it’s been wonderful!!!

I have been using them for over 20 years to clean the carpets in my law office. they also cleaned the duct vents. They come when they say they will and do a great job.
