Efficient Pack Out & Disaster Recovery in Kansas City

Staff was very courteous and friendly, went over the areas to be cleaned to discuss problem areas. They were very efficient and attentive to detail. We were extremely pleased with the results.

They removed damage furniture and caused further damage to my home ruining handrails,doors, baseboards and walls along the way then said they aren’t responsible.

Had the ducts and vents cleaned. Seems to have worked but hard to tell. The main difference is that I use a Merve 11 furnace filter and used to replace every 6 months. Now my furnace guy only has to replace it every year. And last time he said the one that’s been in use for a year still looks good. I had him replace it anyway. I figure I can swing a new filter every year!

Steamatic received a call from Allstate and came early to assess the issue and help. I personally remove the water from the floorings but needed a lot of help with the ceiling. Employees came and helped with information with the assessment and did some work to help block any more water that might come down from the ceiling! Allstate and Steamatic have both been so helpful and fast; it’s been wonderful!!!

I had a short-notice request and Steamatic handled it perfectly. The team called in advance and showed up promptly. Bambi and her associate were fast and thorough. They were pleasant and professional. I will call on them again. EC

The technician did a great job! He was thorough, did not hurry, answered my concerns as he was working! He was friendly and did not mind me asking questions and talking with me about certain areas that needed extra attention!

We just moved into an old house and had the upstairs remodeled. The house had a bad odor before the remodel but was worse after. My family was coughing and waking up with headaches and sore throats. We hired Steamatic to come out and clean our air ducts and install 2 UV lights. Scheduling was easy and they gave us a price quote over the phone. They called and text that morning when they were on their way and then did a walk through the house to give us the final price. The quote over the phone was too much so they lowered the price once they got there. They sent 2 people and they were really nice and took really good care of our stuff. They spent most of the day here and worked their butts off! They even vacuumed all of our carpets when they were done. They also did a walk through with us to make sure that the house was as clean as what we were expecting. I really appreciated their attention to caring for our home. Not many companies do that. I will definitely have them back out again for any of the services they offer. They definitely treated our house as if it were their own. They also wore masks without asking and I really appreciated that- even though the restrictions have been removed on mask wearing in KC. I thought that was super professional and again- another way they showed us care and respect. Thank you guys! We feel more comfortable in our home knowing the air is clean.

Even though taking the rug to them can be a hassel, the savings make it worth it and I feel like the quality of the clean is much better when you take the rug to them vs in house service.

Very unprofessional the carpet techs showed up about 2 hours late and when I asked about it they pretty much told me I could reschedule or go some where else do not recommend this company horrible experience service did not make up for it either carpets looked the same when they were done.

They also repaired a random hole found in the duct work. I was able to add on a dryer vent cleaning while they were there, and they fixed a loose attachment on the dryer vent too. Unfortunately I’m on bed rest so I was not able to monitor the work. The men have great customer service, so I figured everything was ok. Unfortunately I was wrong . The container they had to suck out everything from the vents is scattered all over the floor in the basement, which I could of handle. But as I followed green foot prints to the basement I noticed the knocked over a full sealed container can of green paint . They let the entire container spill out all over the basement floor and didn’t bother to even tell me . I couldn’t even give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they didn’t notice because the container was upright so someone had to pick up the container after it spilled . AT THE MINIMUM SOMEONE COULD OF ATLEAST TOLD ME ! My home may not mean much to other people but this is all I have. An it’s been so hard to keep up with things having this highrisk pregnancy. So disappointed because customers service is amazing but it’s followed up with poor work .

Steamatic did what they promised to do. They cleaned the floors and put a new top coat of polyurethane on the floors. They look good as new. There was one slight problem and they were johnny on the spot to correct the problem. They are easy to work with and do what they so. We had our wood floors done and they were 25% of the cost of having them sanded and refinished and they did it in two days!. I recommend them highly.

This company cleaned out my dryer vent. They arrived on time in fact sooner than expected which was fine. I’ll assume they did a good job since I cannot see inside the ducts of my dryer vent I do know they were cleaning up some things that blew out the vent though. I feel better knowing it’s been cleaned out. No excuse for fires.

Initial scheduling was tough during peak season, but once it was ironed out by talking directly to the office personnel things went well. The lead technician was good with answering questions, as well as assuring me of his goal to take care of me.

Conner and Leroy did a great job cleaning my carpets. They were exceptionally careful cleaning around and under ( as needed) my large furniture. My carpets had not been cleaned for quite awhile and look so nice now- even the steps!! I will definitely use Steamatic again!!

The lady that scheduled the call was very kind and professional as well as the men who cleaned the carpets. Someone did change my time frame without letting me know but I was compensated with a cleaning of an extra area at no charge.

We were extremely pleased with the work performed. Not only were they prompt and efficient, they were friendly and left every area very clean. I had no idea how much dirt had accumulated in our vents over the years. They promised us we were not going to be the poster model for dirty ducts. We have used Steamatic in the past for carpet cleaning and I will now be adding duct cleaning to our regular house maintenance. I highly recommend using this service. Could not be happier.

A professional company and a great value

Steamatics took care of cleaning our home after we had a fire in the garage this October. This was actually the second fire and we immediately reached out to Steamatics to help with recovering my home. The Jeff and the ladies (Noe, Juana, and Aspen) are excellent to work with and made sure my home was restored and livable again. I fully recommend calling the team at Steamatics when looking for a excellent team to take care of your home.

The team that showed up were very cordial and professional, and were able to remove the pet stains/odors from our couch and ottoman.

We had recent issue with water damage in our basement from all of the rain in KC. Called Steamatic and they scheduled appointment for next possible day which was 1 day later. Service man came and explained all of the services but did not pressure us but was very informative. He got right to work and did an exceptional job. Very efficient and professional. Carpet came out cleaner than expected. We will difinitely use again in the future as they did a much better job than previous companies we had used,

Wish we could have packed them up and moved them with us!!! It’s so HARD to find great carpet cleaning services with great technicians!!!! We really MISS them and their services!!!

We used Steamatic to clean our light green sofa. The sofa almost looks like new again. They were able to clean out dirt and stains from the last 5 years. It dried enough to sit on it after 6 hours and entirely within 24 hours.

They missed the window of expected arrival time due to some issues with their van, and it was a slow start because the machine was giving them trouble. The floor was soaked during the cleaning process and dried/mopped up when they were done with the sofa. They removed our area rug and other furniture near the couch. Overall, I’m pleased with the outcome.

When you book online for small jobs, be sure to note the minimum charge is more than some of the small job costs. I think the minimum was $140. So, if needed, consider booking multiple small jobs to meet the minimum and get the most out of your service.

We called and scheduled appointment for Carpet Cleaning 3 days ago. We came to our property at the scheduled time and waited for 1hr, no one ever showed up. Called into the office and was told someone would have to get back with us. We understand things happen, but how unprofessional for no one to call or get back to us? Not the kind of business to consider for professional service.

We had a soiled carpet and many chairs with various stains from hosting K-5 summer school students. STEAMATIC gave the room “a new carpet and new chair look.” Pricing was reasonable and the techs that came out were very professional and courteous.–Hardie Smith.

Professional staff and quality results

They arrived comfortably within the alloted window. They talked me through what they could and could not do, and answered all my questions. Once they got started, they worked quickly and efficiently. I expected to have some cleanup to do after they left, but there was none.

They did have one piece of equipment that leaked a little bit. Fortunately, it was a minor leak. They put the equipment in a bucket I happened to have and so there wasn’t a mess in my house. Maybe Steamatic should have it fixed or replaced.

Carpet still dirty! Sent carpet back and nothing changed. Ended up cleaning the spots with household cleaners with no problems. Not sure what’s going on with them. They have been great in the past.

Rugs look like brand new

Not exactly what i expected. The company was professional and fast completing the job. However, i thought they would vacuum the carpet before streaming, but didn’t. The carpet was still wet after 12 hrs. Overall, the experience was average.

Steamatic did the flooding clean up for our finished basement when the flood happened on July 27th…During that time, 3 storm windows were thrown away in error on their part…and a hole in my wall by the dryer was made from moving and hauling away damaged items.. Company stated in writing they would pay for the windows and for the hole in the wall…I have sent over 3 emails to Jeff and to Juan about the hole in the wall…three times the cost of $300 was sent to them to respond…My contractor is waiting to start the repair but not until Steamatic pays 1/2 up front and 1/2 when done…They have not acknowledged any of my emails…I also need to have them see the estimates I have for the windows which I have not sent to them yet as I am trying to deal with one issue at a time..I would like to get this settled ASAP…..I have other issues that I do not want to post here online that also occurred….this was probably the worst experience we have dealt with…the flooding was bad enough but then these issues happened….my local insurance agent Dave Housh highly recommended this company to help me out…however, it has turned into a nightmare. Manager is now stating cannot speak to us and we are frauds….Unbelievable.

If you want service don’t go here! Didn’t even show up to my home to do the service today on Friday. When I set up my appointment its was to been set for before lunch that conversation tool place on a Monday. They called me Wednesday to let me know they would be here before lunch on Friday. ( didn’t sound sure of himself) he was hesitant. Again, they didn’t show up. Didn’t even receive a call to reschedule. What kind of service is this?!?

Their service techs were on time, professional and thorough. They walked us through how they were going to clean the ducts and vents. We also received before and after photos of the progress. (which is great info to have if you are selling your home)

The only complaint I have is that the less experienced guy kept leaving his tools, bag of padding to cover the vents, and attachments on the furniture. I would move them off and he would put them right back. Other than that they did a good job.

Steamatic sent a very capable crew. They were on time, organized and efficient. Once we established the power location, the location of vents and air returns, they proceeded to get the job done. We had a sink overflow and cause damage to a laundry room, closet and downstairs bedroom. They would give me a window of when they were arriving and supposed to call before arriving but never did.They only did part of the work that they were supposed to do. They had the list of items they were supposed to do, yet I was constantly telling them things that still needed done and most of that stuff still did not get done. The ceiling they repaired very obviously looks like it’s been repaired.

I-had water damage to my home from a pipe bursting , they sent over 2 guys around 23 of age , to remove the wet sheet rock in my laundry room. Well they came with NO equipment, I was sleep from working the night before so my friend was there . They her for a butter knife to remove the sheet rock really !!! Then after one week the dryer fans running 24 hours a day for one week Then

OK, they came to remove the WET sheet rock , come on it dry now and I told to take it all out the first time they came , but they didn’t, they also track mud and dirt on my stairs from the worker . Oh yes they send someone out to clean the carpet on my stairs . I was under the impression static was a good a responsible company NOT . I very seldom write reviews but I had to warn consumers out there . My insurance company did not give me a choice to use any other company. But stay away are fight to get another water company out ,they deserve a -5 star!

I chose Steamatic because their prices seemed more affordable than othersand for the great reviews. I was not disappointed. There was a bit of a mishap but Steamatic took care of it free of charge as soon as they could. I am using them again for another house! Thank you, Steamatic!

My only criticism is they should wipe around the area rug after they spray the deodorizer and finish cleaning. There was lots of wet splatter on my hardwood floor. I am 76 and had to repeatedly bend over & wipe around my area rug. Plus I almost broke my neck slipping on my slick bathroom tile after they left. It also got sprayed on because it was adjacent to my bedroom carpet when they cleaned it.

I’ve never used them, and will never use them because one of their vans cut us off and almost caused a wreck with another vehicle. Driving behind them now on the highway and hes weaving in and out of traffic. He also has ear buds in. Thats not very safe. License plate 3WH 114 van #11.

had our fridge in storage for a few months and it grew mold inside. they took apart all the removable small pieces, and did a thorough job sanitizing it all.

He was very professional, listen and asked questions as to what my exceptions were. He took the time to explain to me exactly what he would be doing and how a lot of carpet once any stain has set for a while get into the mat and is very difficult to get out completely. We have never used Steamatic. We assumed upon a higher price for their work and either did it ourselves or had another company. We finally realized we needed an overhaul in our basement and had them come and really clean the basement and our furniture. I had to call and add things at the last minute and the price was so reasonable and the work was excellent. The technician who arrived had me look over our requirements before starting and sign it. He than, told me what he was doing along the way, he was quick and efficient and a great personality. I highly recommend this company and I have already given out some of their cards.

The guys did fine. Thru didn’t have the little foam blocks to put under the furniture. They said the van did not get stocked with them.

The HVAC people did good also. Arrived late with no explanation, but did a good job cleaning.

The team from Steamatic did a thorough, professional job of cleaning a real mess, we had no idea how close we may have been coming to a house fire due to badly clogged dryer venting. They were polite, hard working, and did a great job! They told us what the problem was behind our dryer not running properly (taking far too long to dry even a small load), fixed the problems that had built up, cleaned everything and put everything back when they finished, and advised us on proper ventilation maintenance. Great service.

The cleaning was okay not as good as in past years. The techs were not professional in appearance or work ethics. I will contact a different Co. next time.

Think the carpets were more wet than usual. Did a really nice job for no longer than he has been with the company. Eli has a great personality. Thank you for another great job!

They boys were nice, after they left we found debris everywhere. They did not clean up. The ducts were cleaned, debris on the carpet. Pieces of wood, showing in the in the downstairs vent. It may have been something in the vent. He had to have seen i it to restore the vent. But wasn’t showing previously. Now I have to climb on a ladder and try to get it out I’m 59 years old and the last thing I need to do is get on a ladder. The young man smoked and left his cigarette butts in my driveway. We found rusty nails, which was extremely dangerous to us and our dogs. Pieces of insulation, tact’s and some piece of equipment.
Again the guys were nice, just not very professional. Maybe some coaching to improve the results of the duct cleaning and cleanup. I do not want them to return as we have already cleaned most of it. Respectfully,

When I called, Bambi answered the phone quickly and answered all my questions. She scheduled me for the next week and let me know how to prepare to have our carpets cleaned. She said they’d arrive between a certain time frame. The morning of, she called to let me know they were running behind and that the technician would give me a call when he was on his way. He did not call but the technician was extra friendly, professional and kind. He wore a mask, but didn’t have it covering his nose. There was a mix up and it took longer than expected to start the service because they had to have someone drop a cleaning wand by. Because of the delay I was given a reasonable discount. Once, he started cleaning it only took about 35 minutes to do 5 rooms and a hallway. They said it would take 8-12 hours for the carpet to dry, but it took a bit longer in some spots. I’m impressed with their commitment to quality and friendliness. I will likely use them again to clean my carpets.

Professional, arrived on time, explained services performed, offered pet deodorizer, etc. Pleased with service and results.
